This was our second trip to the French Alps, and specifically to Mont Blanc. We needed a trip to the snow and some time with our Italian friends that feel like family. We were worried because before we arrived, our friends said there was no snow. Amazingly, a few hours later when we arrived there was a good blanket of snow, enough to feel like we were in a winter wonderland and enough for some decent sledding. It was a perfect weekend mountain trip.
